The ARK, After-School Respite for Kids, happens three times each year. We gather on five Wednesdays from 4-5:30 p.m. in February-March, April-May and September-October. Kids in 2nd through 6th
grades can arrive at the church any time after school. We pick up kids from Linderman Elementary and Polson Middle schools.
ARK programs have included: building peace through respect for yourself, world, friends and other cultures and religions; social justice through food, health, environment, education and economics; world religions and inspirational people who work for peace. The ARK mission statement is to provide education and information to children in an effort to develop tolerance, respect and PEACE.
The day’s activities include: yoga / exercises, relaxation, snack, story/program and crafts and games. A dedicated group of church volunteers keep The ARK sailing.

We are striving to create an environment for our youth that is relational, invitational, inclusive and missional in nature. Our goal is to create a safe space for everyone to walk their own faith journey. Questions will be explored in a way that allows the youth to find their own answers.
